The Second course of the project: Arduino, Wearable Device and Free Editor at Genoa

This course will be an Introduction to IoT wearable devices for educational purposes;
b) How to use a free software Editor
c) How to connect a free software editor to an open source semplifies electronics prototyping platform;
d) Sensors (First part): Gyroscope, accelerometer, tilt sensor, light sensor, magnetometer.

The venue will be Madlab 2.0 (via della maddalena 121r in Genoa)  the 3d printer and humanoid start up founded by Scuola di Robotica in 2017.

The software that the trainees will use are Scratch, Snap and more.

After less than the first year of the project we can present at European Maker Faire the firs Guidelines and Learning Scenarios for teachers!

The teacher workshop it will be organized by Scuola di Robotica, the italian partner of the project with the collaboration of Edumotiva.

The European Maker Faire is the mot important appointment for all makers all over the Europe and we are very proud to present the first intellectual otuput in this occasion. In this workshop will be present a social and educational use of the technology speaking about our project and the Italian Project Touch focused on 3d printed object for unpair vision people.

In July 2018, we presented the project at Daimler AG where we exchanged ideas with trainers of car mechatronics who were interested in the social aspect of our project in order to push forward the development of education and training at their company.

With the support of the Erasmus+-project the Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium was able to buy five 3D printers in April 2018 and could therefore introduce 3D printing into regular science lessons, different Robotics and Informatics clubs.

All partners follow the training course organized by Create It Real on 3d printing and educational activities. Create it Real share the first step of educational activities on 3d printing and thank you Enable -France the 4th day was focused on 3d printed prosthesis. All partner share some information about they educational idea of 3d printing and start to prepare new learning scenarios.

We created a Facebook Group open to all people interested to use technology in a social and educational way.
